Q. Who is it for?
A. The DERMA H Pro is for all ages, all skin types. Expecting and new moms too.

Q. What else do I need to purchase with it?
A. The DERMA H Pro should be used with W SkinCare’s HYLA-2 Serum for facial treatment and W SkinCare's Body Gel for body treatment. BOTH ARE SOLD SEPARATELY.

Q. What does it do?
A. The DERMA H Pro combines 3 different skin therapies with 3 different wavelengths of LED. That’s 6 skin treatments in one device.

Q. How does it work?
A. The DERMA H Pro provides 4 modes of treatment in cycles of 5 min each. These modes can be used separately or together (a 20 min treatment) or in any combination thereof.

Q. What is each mode and what does it do?
A. The ACTIVATION mode combines thermotherapy with red LED at 640nm. This mode warms the skin to 42°C to increase blood circulation and O2 delivery in the targeted areas. The red LED energizes the cells to produce higher levels of ATP energy. This is the type of energy needed to produce newer, higher quality and quantity of collagen and elastin proteins in the skin.

A. The CAVITATION mode showers the skin in 1 megahertz sonic waves. These waves act as a workout for the skin and underlying fibroblasts in particular. Fibroblasts are the building blocks that make skin resilient and youthful looking. This mode is paired with green LED at 532nm... a wavelength that has been utilized for decades as a means to improve skin tone and discoloration. Try this mode on your hands with the Body Gel (sold separately).

A. The TRANSDERMAL mode is all about iontophoresis or ion transfer. The DERMA H Pro uses a special sensor at the top of the device and the body’s electrical energy to reverse polarity between the epidermis (top) and dermis (bottom) layers of skin. With negatively charged ions at the surface and positively charged ions below, the HYLA-2 Serum (sold separately) is drawn into those areas where it is needed most. Blue LED at 423nm, meanwhile, provides a parallel benefit. Blue LED is known for its anti-bacterial properties, however, it’s also an amazing free-radical fighter! This mode is excellent for acne.

A. The FINISHING mode is the final stage of a full 20 min treatment. This mode combines thermotherapy with ultrasonic waves plus alternating red/blue LED wavelengths for ultimate final effect.

Q. How do I use the Ionto Sensor?
A. In TRANSDERMAL (iontophoresis) mode, use the palm of your hand to fully cover the Ionto Sensor at the top of the DERMA H Pro. This will close the loop and facilitate ion transfer. Maintain sensor contact in this hand position for the duration of this mode (5 min). IMPORTANT: REMOVE ALL BODY METAL I.E. EARRINGS, NECKLACES, PIERCINGS, WATCHES, RINGS.

Q. How often can I use it?
A. Anywhere, anytime. On an individual mode basis (5 min) or a complete 4 mode treatment (20 min) or any combination thereof. Everyone has different skin, therefore, everyone can expect a different response and final result.

Q. Is there downtime?
A. Absolutely none. W SkinCare’s core philosophy has always been about taking care of and nurturing the skin’s natural restorative ability (as opposed to damaging the skin to illicit a wound response). As such, the DERMA H Pro is completely non-invasive. It doesn't hurt. It doesn't increase photo-sensitivity and is safe for sensitive skin.

Q. Where can I use it?
A. Face, hands, neck, knees wherever you want. Our clients are quick to discover the versatility and convenience of the DERMA H Pro. From anti-aging, to neck pain, sports injury to carpal tunnel syndrome, the list of treatment possibility is endless. For decades, people have been paying big money to have these types of therapies performed on them using giant, expensive individual machines at the dermatologist office, in sports therapy and at clinical settings. Today’s technology has finally caught up to combine all these therapies into a single, portable and cost-effective platform.

Q. What if I have Fillers or Botox?
A. The DERMA H Pro can be used (3) days post injection for fillers and (14) days post injection for Botox.

Q. Is there a warranty?
A. Yes. There is a (1) year manufacturer’s warranty offered from date of purchase for the DERMA H Pro.

Q. Can I return it if I don’t like it?
A. No. The DERMA H Pro is classified as a personal esthetic device and due to the intimate nature of its use, cannot be returned. Exchange only per the manufacturer's warranty.

Q. Does this device replace cold laser treatment?
A. No. The DERMA H Pro does not replace cold laser treatment. This is an esthetic device that combines 3 different skin therapies and 3 different wavelengths of LED for skin health maintenance in a self-care setting. These technologies are complimentary to each other but actually quite different.

Q. How did you find this?
A. The DERMA H Pro was developed by our skin-savvy friends in South Korea. The device debuted last year at the national Italian and Japanese cosmetic congress. W SkinCare is the only company with exclusive authorization to bring these devices into Canada.
